Gift of Words™ presented by Starbucks

Gift of Words™ is a philanthropic program funded by Starbucks Coffee Canada and developed and managed by ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation. It supports literacy and learning initiatives in communities across the country.

Funding is available to school libraries, public libraries and not-for-profit literacy organizations to assist in the development or maintenance of a reading circle or to create or expand a children's book collection. Successful applicants for reading circle funding will receive $2,500, and successful applicants for book collection funding will receive $1,500. ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation is responsible for the management of this project, including the distribution of funding, on behalf of Starbucks.
